Tony HOBSON : Number 33 : Race 2 Crash

Missed a gear coming out of Park corner.‚  Drifted wide at Chris Curves and both my outside wheels were on the grass at about 75mph.‚  I was controlling the drift OK until I ran over an access road. This bounced the back of the car up into the air and set me onto a course to the barriers.‚  At this point I was a passenger, just waiting for the bang.

And the bang did come..!

I hit the drivers side of the car square on. The GPS recorded the impact over 6G at 55mph. All I can say is that I¢â‚¬â„¢m glad the tyres were in front of the barrier and the car¢â‚¬â„¢s safety equipment did it¢â‚¬â„¢s job and I walked away¢â‚¬¦
